My dog suddenly has bad gas?

She has had bad gas for a week and I have fed her the same food for 2 years so I know that the food is not the problem. She seems to want to lay down all day and sleep like she doesnt feel good. Everything else seems normal she is pooping and eating like normal but I found a half eaten sock in her bed and I'm worried it might have gotten stuck in her intestines and the poo is just going around it. Could this be the case? I cant afford to take her to the vet so Is there something i could give her to make the sock come out? Could she die?:( PLEASE HELP ME FAST and please dont tell me to take her to the vet cause i dont have the money
