EMERGENCY help! If you can't vomit what do you do?

hey everyone. about five days ago my mom had a biopsy done on a tumor that is lodged somewhere between her small and large intestines. This biopsy would determine what the mass itself consists of and wether or not it's malignant. Anyways, she had four incisions done below her abdomen but to be able to go along with the procedure they literally had to pump her full of air, like a balloon. Here's the problem: her biopsy was thursday it is now tuesday and she hasn't been able to let out any gas. All of her food has to be light so she can't eat anything 'harmful' that could produce gas because ultimately that could result in the incisions opening up because the intestines aren't fully capable of digesting those types of foods. This morning she woke up with A LOT of pain and she's feeling very nauseous but it's very harmful for her if she throws up. It's basically a severe stomach ache that starts at that spot/cavity under your lungs near the diaphragm...trying to explain direction here. What can she do to relieve the pain and perhaps make her burp? Any form of medication is not an option.
